Beginners Mind and the northern lights

We try to have, open it up and empty it out of everything else we know. Sometimes the old stuff still stays there, but we try. And when we really try, beginners mind explodes out from the centre and temporarily some of the old stuff disappears and we are fresh and free.
Fresh and free and childlike again.
Remember what it was like to learn a new word or a new object. Well forget it and get your mind wrapped in a beginners way of thinking. The northern lights are like this, constantly shooting up a new light. And when it shows itself this light, it disappears, and a new fresh light shows. A new fresh northern light in our mind.
